Guru IPTV install guide for every screen

Setting up takes a few minutes and no technician. We lead with the Fire TV Stick because it is the screen most readers start with, then move through Android TV, smart TVs, Apple, phones, computers and the MAG box.

Lesson 01 Three things first

What you need before installing Guru IPTV

Gather these once and every device below goes faster.

Your login email

After checkout or after you claim the free trial, your details arrive by email, usually within about 15 minutes. Keep it open on a phone while you work.

A steady connection

Broadband that is stable beats broadband that is fast. For the sharpest channels use a network cable or sit close to the router.

A free player app

You do not buy software. IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate and IBO Player cover every screen below, and each device section names the right one.

For the main living room set, a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box is the simplest choice.

Lead guide The most popular route

Guru IPTV on Fire TV Stick

A Fire TV Stick is the quickest way to put the guide on a television that has no apps of its own, and it is where most of our members start.

  1. Make room for the app

Press Home, open Settings, then My Fire TV, and look under Developer options. If the player you want is missing from the Amazon Appstore, allow installs from unknown apps for the Downloader tool.

  2. Install a player

Search for IPTV Smarters Pro in the Appstore, or load it through Downloader. Prefer a cable-style grid? TiviMate is the alternative.

  3. Sign in with the email details

Open the app, choose the login option, and type the details from your email. The remote is slow for typing, so a phone keyboard through the Fire TV app helps.

  4. Wait for the first load

The very first sync builds the channel list and can take a minute or two. After that it opens quickly every time.

Lesson 03 Boxes with Google inside

Guru IPTV on Android TV and Google TV

Sony and Philips sets, Chromecast with Google TV and most Android-based TV boxes share one friendly store.

  1. Open the Play Store

From the home screen, pick Apps and then the Google Play Store, and use the search field with your remote or voice button.

  2. Choose TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro

TiviMate gives the closest thing to a classic cable guide. IPTV Smarters Pro keeps everything simpler. Install whichever appeals.

  3. Add your details

Select the option to add a playlist or log in, then enter the details from your email exactly as shown.

Lesson 04 Samsung and LG sets

Guru IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TV

Modern Samsung and LG televisions can run an IPTV player without any extra hardware, which makes them the tidiest setup in the house.

  1. Open the TV app store

On Samsung press Home and pick Apps. On LG open the LG Content Store. Use the search field to look for IBO Player.

  2. Install and launch the player

Select Install, wait for it to finish, then open it. The app shows an identifier for your television on its first screen.

  3. Link your subscription

Follow the on-screen prompt to add your login details from the email, then return to the main screen and open the channel list.

Lesson 05 tvOS

Guru IPTV on Apple TV

The Apple TV box works well as a quiet, reliable player once the app is on it, and the iPhone in your pocket can do the typing.

  1. Find the player in the App Store

Open the App Store on the box and search for IPTV Smarters Pro. Download it like any other tvOS app.

  2. Type with your iPhone

When the sign-in screen appears, a prompt on a nearby iPhone lets you use its keyboard instead of the remote.

  3. Sign in and browse

Enter the details from your email, give the channel list a moment to sync, and open any live channel from the guide.

Lesson 06 Screens you carry

Guru IPTV on iPhone and iPad

Phones and tablets are ideal for a kitchen game or a commute, and setup takes about as long as downloading any other app.

  1. Download from the App Store

Search for IPTV Smarters Pro and tap Get. Allow notifications only if you want them.

  2. Log in

Open the app, choose the login option and paste the details from your email, which is easier than typing on glass.

  3. Cast if you want a bigger picture

Use AirPlay from the player to send a stream to an Apple TV or a compatible smart TV.

Lesson 07 Android handsets and tablets

Guru IPTV on Android phone and tablet

Android gives you the widest choice of players, so this is the place to experiment until one feels right.

  1. Open Google Play

Search for IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or IBO Player, and install the one you like.

  2. Enter your details

Pick the sign-in option, paste the details from your email, and save.

  3. Make it fit your hand

Turn on picture-in-picture so a game keeps playing in a corner of the screen while you reply to a message.

Lesson 08 Desktop and laptop

Guru IPTV on Windows and Mac

A computer is useful for a home office game day or a hotel room, and it doubles as a way to test your login quickly.

  1. Get a desktop player

Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows or macOS from its official site, or use any desktop player that accepts the same login details.

  2. Install and open it

Run the installer, approve the usual operating system prompts, and start the program.

  3. Sign in

Enter the details from the email. If you have a second monitor, drag the player onto it and go full screen.

Lesson 09 Portal and MAC

Guru IPTV on MAG box

A MAG box from Infomir works differently from an app. It reads a portal address instead of a username screen, and it is tied to its own MAC address.

  1. Find the MAC address

It is printed on the label under the box and also appears in the settings menu. It starts with 00:1A:79 on most units. Write it down.

  2. Enter the portal URL

Open Settings, then Servers, then Portals. Add a portal name and paste the portal URL from your login email into the address line. Save the change.

  3. Restart the box

Reboot the box so it loads the portal. If the screen asks for the MAC address to be linked, send it to support@guru-iptv.tv with the email address you ordered from.

Lesson 11 Setup questions

Guru IPTV setup questions

The same five questions come up after almost every installation.

Do I need a special box to run Guru IPTV?

No. A free player app on a Fire TV Stick, a smart TV, a phone or a computer is enough. The only dedicated hardware in this guide is the MAG box, and it is optional.

Which player app should I pick for Guru IPTV?

IPTV Smarters Pro is the all-rounder across phones, tablets, sticks and computers. TiviMate suits Android-based TV boxes that want a cable-style guide, and IBO Player is the usual choice on Samsung and LG sets.

Where do my sign-in details come from?

They arrive in the email sent after checkout or after you claim the trial, usually within about 15 minutes. Every app on this page asks for the details in that message.

Can I use Guru IPTV on several screens?

You can install a player on each screen you own. Plan your viewing around the connections your subscription allows, and write to support@guru-iptv.tv if you want to check your own limit.

What if the channels will not load after I sign in?

Restart the app, then check that the TV is online and that the details were typed exactly as they appear in the email. A wired network cable fixes most stubborn cases. Still stuck? Email support with your device model.

Lesson 12 Need a hand?

Still stuck on Guru IPTV setup?

Email support@guru-iptv.tv with your device model and a short description of what you see on the screen. Reading that is enough for us to point you at the right step.
